About Michael Whyte, DDS

Michael Whyte, DDS is a general dentist and founder of Dr. Whyte Smile located in Richmond, Virginia. He is a native of Utah and Washington State. Dr. Whyte received bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Economics from Utah State University. He went on to graduat from VCU School of Dentistry in 2013 and has since completed comprehensive Conscious Sedation Training and Certification. Dr. Whyte’s passion for dentistry is centered in quality work, making connections with people, and alleviating any patients’ fear or anxiety of dental procedures. His key goal is to help his patients keep their teeth for a lifetime. An avid believer of health and fitness, he enjoys rock climbing, camping, kayaking, hiking, and beachcombing. He especially enjoys doing these activities with his two daughters and his son, who are each equally adventurous. Dr. Whyte is very personable and optimistic. He loves to laugh and often tells “dad jokes” while he works. He genuinely believes in the power of positivity to overcome obstacles, and in serving each of his patients with care and expertise.
